Listen to Korn on iHeartRadio

It turns out Korn won't be heading through Ukraine on their current tour of Eastern Europe.

The band has postponed their stop in Kiev, which was scheduled to take place this Friday.  They explain in a post on their website that after the U.S. State Department issued a travel advisory warning against non-essential visits to the Ukrainian capital, the band and the show's promoter felt it was in the fans' best interest to call off the gig for now.

Korn didn't specify when the concert might be rescheduled, but did confirm that the rest of the tour will continue as scheduled.  Up next is a stop in Moscow Thursday night, followed by a show in Belarus on Saturday.

Korn isn't the first band to cancel a show in Kiev due to the threat of clashes between pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian groups.  Peter Gabriel canceled a show last weekend, and Depeche Mode did the same back in February.
