Eddie Vedder is always interested in helping a good cause, and his latest act of charity comes in the form of epilepsy research. The Pearl Jam frontman donated a signed guitar to the Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) auction, with all proceeds benefitting the organization in its fight to find a cure for epilepsy. At time of writing, the current bid on the guitar was $2500, with a "buy now" option for anyone who has an extra $10,000. You can bid on the guitar here.

Other auction items include guitars signed by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Keith RichardsPaul Simon, 3 Door Down and James Taylor, as well as a drum head signed by the members of Cheap Trick. Check out all the donated items here.

In addition to the auction, Vedder will also be performing at the CURE 20th Annual Chicago Benefit alongside E Street Band member Nils Lofgren and Miguel Cervantes, who performed in Green Day's Broadway adaptation of American Idiot and is currently starring in the Chicago production of HAMILTON. The event takes place on October 15 at Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier in Chicago. Find out more information here.

Aside from the CURE benefit, Pearl Jam recently announced their involvement in an initiative to help end youth homelessness in their home state of Washington.
