Ozzy Osbourne's highly-anticipated 13th solo album should arrive in September, according to the Prince of Darkness's wife and longtime manager Sharon Osbourne.

Sharon delivered the news during an appearance on The Graham Norton Radio Show, which was recorded in late-April, before the family's latest bout with COVID.

During the conversation, Sharon explained that Ozzy was doing "really, really good. He's finished another album which is coming out in September. And there we are. He's busy in the studio. He still does all his writing and singing, and it keeps him really happy... He'll never stop singing and writing. We've built him a big studio here [in the U.K.], so he can do it all at home. And he can't wait to come back, to be honest with you."

Ozzy's new album features a suite of contributions with iconic British guitar heroes, including a reunion with his fellow Black Sabbath cofounder Tony Iommi, as well as guitar work by Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck.

Ozzy again used Chad Smith, Duff McKagan and producer Andrew Watt as his rhythm section. The LP reportedly also includes contributions from Slash, Mike McCready, Zakk Wylde and Elton John. A title for the record has yet to be announced.

Sharon added that the couple expects to be shuttling back and forth between the U.K. and their longtime home in California for the rest of the year. They plan to fully move back to England by next year.

After avoiding COVID for over two years, Ozzy tested positive for the virus this spring while Sharon was at work across the pond. Sharon rushed back to Los Angeles to take care of her husband and promptly got COVID for the second time, along with several other members of her household.

While Ozzy was dogged by a fever and cough for several days, he recovered without incident. Sharon spent a few days in bed, but is now on the mend.
